The total number of vacancies are 107.

Name of Vacancies and Number of Posts – The name and number of vacancies per posts are mentioned below.
1. Court Master – 31

2. Senior Personal Assistant – 33
3. Personal Assistant – 43.

Salary/Pay and Grade Pay –  For court master post, the payable salary will be Rs 67,700, for senior personal assistant, the payable salary will be Rs 47,600 and for personal assistant post, the payable salary will be Rs 44,900 per month. Educational Qualifications – The educational qualification details for these posts are mentioned below.

  • Personal Assistant/ Senior Personal assistant – {a graduate degree in any discipline with a typing speed of 40 words per minute in English}
  • Court Master – {a graduate degree in law with a typing speed of 40 words per minute in English and minimum five years of experience as a private secretary/ PA/ senior stenographer in government/ public sector undertakings}.

Selection Method – For recruitment in the Supreme Court of India, the candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written exam, shorthand/ typing test and then a personal interview. Candidates must be prepared for these tests.

Syllabus/ Exam Criteria –  The computer based exam for SCI will consist of following subjects –

  • General English (50 Marks, 50 Questions)
  • General Aptitude (15 Marks, 15 Questions)
  • Knowledge in Law (25 Marks, 25 Questions)
  • General Knowledge (10 Marks, 10 Questions).
The total duration of exam will be 105 minutes. Total number of questions will be 100 and total marks will be also 100. There will be 0.25 marks of negative marking for one wrong answer. The medium for examination will be Hindi and English.
Work Experience – No further work experience required for senior personal assistant and personal assistant posts. Fresher candidates and candidates with no experience can also apply for this recruitment.
